Hi ...Thank you for visiting my website ,  I am 69 years old and suffered from a couple of accidents ( 1983 and 2001 ) on a motorcycle and after the final one in 2001 which gave me a leg disability and several problems and i got the message and gave up motorcycles completely having had one off and on from the age of 16 years i did not do so bad. I was the age of 51 years after the last accident and had over a year off work was planning to go back as they were giving me a job sitting down on light duties but the company closed down in Gt Yarmouth and i was made redundant I had to take early retirement.

In my working life i only had a few jobs , these ranged from the 70s working the oil industry for 12 years, started driving ,and then into workshop working on lathes , Cnc milling and much more also had the pleasure in meeting 

Red Adair and Boots Hansen. ( American oil well firefighters, they became notable famous as an innovator in the highly specialized and hazardous profession of extinguishing and capping oil well blowouts, both land-based and offshore.

They were working on a christmas tree blow out valves for the Hewitt field in the north sea with the company i was working for Hunting Oilfield Services.

In the latter years just before my accident i was with a German company for 11 years that was based in Thetford and Gt Yarmouth. They were manufacturer of air conditioning for big companies like Glaxco, Coca Cola , Canary Wharf.

This gave me more skills in sheet metal working , and all that  goes with it,

making me a hands on person.

​

About ten years on 2012 and with the help of a good friend of 35 years  David G0ACM now a silent key who at the time had been a amateur since his teenager years.

And i had plenty of time on my hands and so in December 2012 i took my exam with NARC norfolk amateuer radio club and passed my Foundation licence of which i have had for 7 Months and then passed my intermediate on 6th july 2013 and had to have a new call sign Formerly

M6TWQ  and now 2E0TWQ to this present day.

​

 

 

 

I have a history as a young man in my 20s of working the 11 metres on CB with various antennas , vertical and on the flat side beams and working many stations on the DX side of LSB , USB all over the world.

​

So now I have the time I have rekindled my interest and am enjoying my new hobby yet again. HI HI

I live on the 2nd eastly point in the U.K ...Gt Yarmouth , Norfolk . It was a very industrious place at one time starting with herring drifters and then as the years progressed a holiday resort , and one of the first major North Sea oil Ports and sites in the U.K
